Vaikarya is an India-focused investment firm. We concentrate on identifying companies undergoing transformative changes, where the long-term future trajectory of these companies can be materially different from their past.
Investment Approach
Vaikarya invests behind change in under-discovered Indian companies. We look for shifts in management, strategy, business mix, capital allocation or industry conditions that can materially alter a company’s earnings and long-term value.
Every idea is underwritten company by company. We test the thesis through filings and management discussions, channel checks, alternate data and AI-assisted research. We look for evidence that the change is durable and not yet fully reflected in expectations.
We build a concentrated portfolio of our strongest ideas. Position size is earned: we add when the evidence strengthens and reduce when execution or the thesis weakens.
Our approach is driven by company-specific change rather than market timing, sector calls or momentum.

Avnish Tiwari
Avnish Tiwari is the CIO and Partner. Before Vaikarya, he was the Managing Director at East Bridge, leading its India office. Before East Bridge, Avnish Tiwari worked with Franklin Templeton and Fidelity, focusing on investments across various sectors and geographies. He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Anchal Rastogi
Anchal Rastogi is part of the investing team at Vaikarya. Before Vaikarya, she was an Associate Director at MAPE Advisory, now Incred Capital. Before MAPE, Anchal worked with Avendus. She did a Business Leadership Program at Stanford GSB and holds an M.B.A. from the Welingkar Institute, Mumbai.
